General Operating Procedures

Trainees learn standardized GOI procedures, communication, TDG, and switching for yards and industrial tracks.

The different types of locomotive air brake systems are covered, as well as the functionality and testing of the independent and automatic air brake systems.

CROR Certification
Upon completion of the course, trainees are certified based on their knowledge of procedures and safety factors, including appropriate rules, required for the safe movement of locomotives on non-main track.
